The Tbilisi City Court has sentenced TV presenter and founder of the “Nanuka’s Fund,” Nanuka Zhorzholiani, to 3 days of administrative detention. Zhorzholiani was detained directly in the courtroom.
The Ministry of Internal Affairs accused Zhorzholiani of violating Part 1 of Article 174¹ of the Administrative Offences Code in December 2025, which concerns the artificial obstruction of pedestrian movement on a sidewalk. The article provides for administrative detention ranging from 2 to 15 days.
