Established in 2018 by Silknet, the Wounded Warrior Support Foundation prioritizes the physical and psychological rehabilitation of Georgia's veterans and military personnel. A key priority is supporting the Ministry of Defense’s wounded warrior sports team.
In partnership with the British charity Invictus Games Foundation, the fund has provided the team with specialized parasport equipment over the years, including wheelchair basketball and archery gear. Most recently, the foundation purchased wheelchair rugby chairs. This allows the team to begin training at the Maro Makashvili Rehabilitation Center in Tserovani for their wheelchair rugby debut at the 2027 Invictus Games in Birmingham, UK.
For eight years, the foundation has supported the health, retraining, and social integration of wounded service members and their families. Silknet has contributed 2,681,000 GEL to the cause. Together with other private donors and matching funds from the Ministry of Defense, the foundation has utilized over 5 million GEL to meet beneficiary needs.

This year alone, the fund allocated 165,000 GEL for medical services, surgeries, medications, and housing adaptations. Additionally, partnering with UN Women, the foundation launched a tailored training program to help the spouses of injured servicemen launch independent careers.
The foundation's financial reports are fully transparent and published on its website. You can support Georgia's hero warriors by donating to the fund's bank accounts or calling the charitable hotline: 0 901 777 771 (1 call = 1 GEL)
Let's unite for our heroes!
