Irakli Kupradze: The solution is simple - we must continue self-organization, resistance in the international arena, in protest, in the streets, and through this self-organization we must be able to remove Ivanishvili from power

“Changing Georgian Dream will be impossible if we give up the fight. The solution is simple — we must continue self-organization, resistance in the international arena, in protest, in the streets, and through this self-organization we must be able to remove Bidzina Ivanishvili from power,” said Irakli Kupradze, Secretary General of “Lelo – Strong Georgia.”

According to him, “only Ivanishvili benefits from having a free electoral field while the opposition remains in self-isolation.”

“It is important that everyone now understands that a boycott is not a solution. Giving up the fight makes it impossible to change Georgian Dream. Therefore, the solution is very simple — we must continue self-organization, resistance in the international arena, in protest, in the streets, and through this self-organization we must be able to remove Bidzina Ivanishvili from power.

Today, only Ivanishvili and ‘anti-Georgian Dream’ benefit from nihilism and distrust toward elections. Only Ivanishvili benefits from a free electoral field while the opposition remains in self-isolation. Therefore, opposition political actors must realize that they should not be doing the work of ‘anti-Georgian Dream’ and Ivanishvili. They must remain in resistance and not give up any space to Bidzina Ivanishvili.

We are glad that various political actors are realizing their mistakes, even though they are one election late. In this struggle, it is important to choose the right political strategy. We must stand with the Georgian people and be able to end the Ivanishvili regime,” Kupradze said.
