We heard yesterday a confusing, incompetent statement by Bidzina Ivanishvili’s Minister of Economy, Mariam Kvrivishvili, who stated that the Anaklia port will receive ships in 2032 - this is the intention of Ivanishvili and the anti-Georgian Dream to further delay and postpone the construction of Anaklia, - the Secretary General of Lelo-Strong Georgia, Irakli Kupradze, stated at the briefing held with party members in Anaklia.

According to him, the Anaklia project is a very important step towards national security, economic prosperity and territorial integrity, which cannot be implemented under the rule of the Georgian Dream.

Previously, the anti-Georgian Dream and Ivanishvili stated that the ships would be received in 2029, but we all need to understand that since 2016, when the construction capsule fell into the Anaklia port, construction began, tens of millions of dollars were invested, 10 years have passed. In 2019, Ivanishvili's regime stated that European, Western and American investors had nothing to do in the Black Sea and canceled, killed the Anaklia port. Ivanishvili's regime began to persecute investors, including our comrades-in-arms - Mamuka Khazaradze and Badri Japaridze - by instituting a fabricated case, which finally revealed that Ivanishvili's representatives lie during every broadcast. At the same time, nothing is being done after 10 years. They postponed the construction of the Anaklia port many times. After Mariam Kvrivishvili postponed the reception of the first ship in the Anaklia port for another 3 years, they realized that they had made a very serious mistake, and in just a few hours the Ministry of Economy denied this information and blamed it on the incompetence of the Minister of Economy and a mechanical error. We do not believe in random omissions on their part. This is the intention of Ivanishvili and the anti-Georgian Dream to further delay and postpone the construction of Anaklia, which is a very important step towards national security, economic prosperity, the brilliance of Samegrelo, including territorial integrity, which cannot be implemented under the Ivanishvili regime. While our Western partners are interested in giving Georgia a very important strategic and geopolitical importance, an important political process has been created in the region, while the military conflict between Armenia and Azerbaijan has been resolved, a new international transit route has emerged, the so-called Trump Road, which needs an exit to the Black Sea, Ivanishvili’s violent anti-Georgian and anti-national policy is killing Georgia’s opportunity for the Anaklia port to become a continuation of the Trump Road and a gateway to the West. We must do everything to remove Ivanishvili’s government from the ruling circle as quickly as possible. The national government must build the Anaklia port!" - stated Irakli Kupradze
