A teacher at a private kindergarten in Tbilisi has been arrested on charges of physical abuse of a minor.

According to the Ministry of Internal Affairs, law enforcement officers have already seized surveillance camera footage as part of the ongoing investigation, which proves the accused's criminal actions.

"Employees of the Main Juvenile Affairs Division of the Tbilisi Police Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, upon preliminary investigation, have arrested one person on charges of violence against a minor.

The investigation revealed that a teacher at one of the private kindergartens in Tbilisi was physically abusing a minor.

Within the framework of the ongoing investigation, law enforcement officers have seized surveillance camera recordings, which prove the criminal act of the accused.

As a result of the operational measures and investigative actions taken, the police have arrested the perpetrator of the crime as a suspect.

The investigation is underway under Part 1 of Article 126 of the Criminal Code,” reads the information.
