The UK has expanded its sanctions list against Russia, adding three companies from Georgia to the list, the UK government has announced.
The UK government has imposed new sanctions on crypto and illicit financial networks that help Russia evade sanctions.
The UK has imposed 18 new sanctions.
The sanctions list includes companies from Russia, the UK, Georgia, Kyrgyzstan, the United Arab Emirates, Panama and El Salvador.
“We are also targeting 3 Georgian companies operating Russia focused exchanges seeking to evade sanctions,” the UK government said in a statement.
According to the document posted on the UK government website, sanctions were imposed on the following Georgia-based companies: Arvix LLC, Rapira Group LLC, and Aifory LLC.
