For us, as well as, I am sure, for all participants of the platform, Georgia remains an important partner, without which the prospects of "3+3" are unlikely to be full-fledged, - the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Russia, Mikhail Galuzin, said at the session in St. Petersburg - "3+3 Platform: Common Challenges and Strategic Partnership".
According to him, he especially welcomes the participation of a representative of Georgian expert circles in the discussion.
“I would like to especially welcome the participation of a representative of Georgian expert circles in our discussion. For us, as well as, I am sure, for all participants of the platform, Georgia remains an important partner, without which the prospects of the “3+3” are unlikely to be full-fledged. I hope that over time, official Tbilisi will also be involved in our work,” Galuzin noted.
At the same time, he said, Russia hopes that the next meeting of the “3+3” format (Georgia, Armenia, Azerbaijan, Russia, Turkey and Iran) at the level of foreign ministers will be held in Baku or Yerevan.
“We hope that the next ministerial meeting will be held in Baku or Yerevan. As we know, negotiations on this issue are underway between our Azerbaijani and Armenian colleagues,” Galuzin said.
