A March of Gratitude is underway on Rustaveli Avenue in support of children with Duchenne muscular dystrophy.

As the organizers of the march and the parents of children with Duchenne say, this is a march of gratitude, unity and victory, and they dedicate this march to those people who have stood by the parents during this entire period of protest.

According to the organizers, the march is also dedicated to the Iliauni University students, who held a marathon and managed to mobilize funds for the children.

The march started at the Rustaveli metro station and will symbolically end at the Chancellery.

For information, after negotiations with parents, it has been decided that a working group will be established to work on the issue of providing medicines to children suffering from Duchenne muscular dystrophy.
