Dzambolat Tedeev, the so-called “Prime Minister” of the occupied Tskhinvali region, has resigned, according to the news agency RES.
The agency reports that Tedeev personally submitted his resignation during a meeting of the so-called government, and that the so-called “president,” Alan Gagloev, accepted it.
According to RES, until a new so-called prime minister is appointed, Tedeev’s duties will be carried out by his first deputy, Konstantin Dzhioev.
“The government will continue to function fully and in accordance with the existing legislation until the parliament approves a new prime minister,” the statement released by RES says.
