Nikoloz Metreveli on participation in the “3+3 format” meeting: I represented only myself and what I said was my personal opinion

Nikoloz Metreveli, an analyst, took part in the first expert-level meeting of the “3+3 format” held on June 5 in Saint Petersburg.

As Metreveli told Radio Free Europe/Radio Liberty, he attended the meeting in his personal capacity.

“The organizing team of the St. Petersburg Economic Forum contacted me and offered me participation. The official host of the event was Saudi Arabia. I represented only myself, and what I said there is my personal opinion,” he noted.

As a reminder, the first expert-level meeting of the “3+3 format” took place in Saint Petersburg on June 5. The “3+3 format” is a platform that envisages participation from Russia, Türkiye, and Iran on one side, and Azerbaijan, Armenia, and Georgia on the other. As the Georgian Ministry of Foreign Affairs stated on June 4, Georgia did not participate in the “3+3 format” meeting, as it has not done in previous years.
