“The first thing I will do is hug my family and the people I have missed,” said Beka Kelekhsashvili, who was released under a plea agreement in connection with the October 4 case, speaking to journalists after the court hearing.

Kelekhsashvili also stated that he accepts the charges against him and wished success to those who remain in custody.

“I would like to express my solidarity with those who are still imprisoned. I wish them a speedy release, and may God protect them.

It was difficult for me [to be in prison], but the value of freedom is greater than any hardship. Freedom is the greatest thing.

...I agree with the charges.

Asked whether he plans to return to protest rallies, provided that doing so would not violate the terms of his plea agreement, Kelekhsashvili replied that he does not know yet and will think about it.
