According to Spanish journalist Iratí Prat, Ilia Topuria does not require surgery.

“Good news from Washington: Ilia Topuria is fine. He is resting. From the Washington hospital where he spent the night, while awaiting the final results of the CT scan, it has been confirmed that Ilia has a minor orbital fracture, but no surgical operation is needed at all. Just rest, and that’s it. That is what they told me,” the journalist wrote.

As a reminder, Ilia Topuria lost to Justin Gaethje in a UFC lightweight championship bout. He sustained facial injuries during the fight.
