According to media reports, a security guard at the Marneuli "Geo Hospitals," who was beaten on April 11 while performing his official duties, has passed away. The information was released by "Marneuli News."

According to the local outlet, the "Geo Hospitals" security guard had been on a ventilator.

Citing the family, the local publication reports that the security guard was assaulted by a family member of a patient. The guard had asked the middle-aged man not to enter the clinic because visiting hours had already ended. The physical assault took place immediately after this refusal.

According to the same reports, one person has been arrested.
