The National Statistics Office of Georgia (“Geostat”) has announced that the population of Georgia, according to the results of the 2024 census, is 3,930,000 people.
According to the head of Geostat, Gogita Todradze, this figure was presented at a briefing held today.
He also stated that 52% of the population are women and 48% are men.
In addition, Todradze noted that compared to the 2014 census, the population has increased by 5.8%, or 216,000 people.
