The Center of Allergy and Immunology is continuing its operations at a new address under a new name. Gotua Medical Center, which has officially opened at #2 G. Zhvania Street, marks a new stage in the long-standing activity and development of the Center of Allergy and Immunology.
According to the clinic's representatives, the experience accumulated over the years, trust-based relationships with patients, and achievements in the medical field laid the foundation for the new name, which honors the past while simultaneously expressing a vision for the future.
"Global trends in allergology and clinical immunology dictate a multidisciplinary, integrated approach. The vision of Gotua Medical Center is based precisely on this principle. The center brings together doctors of various specialties, modern medical approaches, and international professional cooperation to offer patients diagnostic and treatment standards that meet global medical practices. The new center was built upon the foundation of the old one. We will, of course, continue to receive patients for allergology and immunology, but with the addition of new directions. We are also beginning to develop adjacent fields that are closely related to allergy and immunology. Our goal is to provide patients with more opportunities for the treatment of various diseases," states Maia Gotua, General Director of Gotua Medical Center.

The clinical experience accumulated over 27 years and continuous professional development have transformed the center into one of the leading and reference institutions in the region. Today, it treats patients not only from Georgia but also from neighboring countries, which is a testament to its high level of professionalism.
"Georgia has gained another multidisciplinary center. This is a very important development for our country. Allergology intersects with many adjacent and closely related fields. The very concept of the new center ensures that all related specialties connected to allergies are accessible in a single space. We are proud that our field is the medical direction with the lowest rate of patients traveling abroad for diagnosis or treatment," notes Bidzina Kulumbegov, Clinical Director of Gotua Medical Center.
The opening of the new medical center was attended by the Minister of Health of Georgia, Mikheil Sarjveladze, along with leading medical experts, field specialists, representatives of partner organizations and the media, as well as other invited guests.
