A representative of the “Strong Georgia – Lelo” party, Tazo Datunashvili, assessed the Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze’s annual report as follows:

“Today, Ivanishvili’s Prime Minister once again confirmed that he is a serial liar, is developing into a budding fascist, but still remains a ‘failing student’ who cannot understand the Georgian economy, social policy, or the well-being of Georgian citizens,” Datunashvili said.

According to him, “this was a report of hatred, lies, aggression, and division.”

“Mr. Kobakhidze was boasting today with a rapid-fire recitation of macroeconomic indicators, but he does not understand the meaning behind any of these figures, nor what stands behind them. He says that the average salary in Georgia is 2,400 GEL, but he either does not know or denies that the majority of citizens in this country earn less than 350 euros. This is one of the worst indicators in the region. The Prime Minister either does not know, or is misleading you, that Russia’s backyard and pirated macroeconomic figures are unstable and could disappear in a single day when Russian aggression ends,” Datunashvili said.

He added that the opposition will in the future expose “the government’s and its parliamentary team’s criminal inaction, systemic corruption, and betrayal of Georgia’s state interests.”

“This was a report of hatred, lies, aggression, and division. It was a report that no Georgian family liked, but which is liked and welcomed in Moscow by our enemies, and by separatists in Sukhumi and Tskhinvali - by all those who enjoy seeing a weakened, powerless, and corruption-ridden Georgia,” he stated.

Parliament is currently continuing to hear the Prime Minister’s annual report.
