Levan Khabeishvili, the chairman of the Political Council of the National Movement, considers the ongoing discussion on whether the United National Movement will stay or not in the Alliance "pointless" and calls on the party to create a specific agenda and take active action.
According to Khabeishvili, instead of wasting time on invented dilemmas, the main thing is to attack Bidzina Ivanishvili and do the work.
Levan Khabeishvili wrote in a statement on social media that “it is important to create an agenda, attack and act. Whoever wants to stay in the swamp will distance themselves from the matter and continue to “croak”.”
“My extremely modest opinion on this pointless and meaningless discussion about staying in or leaving the Alliance:
It doesn’t matter whether we “enter” or “exit”. What matters is what agenda we create. The main thing is what we do, whether we create an agenda and whether we attack Ivanishvili. If we create an agenda, then others will decide for themselves whether they are in this business or not.
I don’t understand this “enter-exit” thing at all. If we go somewhere and move, others should decide for themselves whether they will follow us or not. “Go in and go out” means wasting time and energy.
Let’s get down to business, create an agenda, and this pointless discussion will end.
It seems childish that the alliance was created three months ago, and for four months now an incomprehensible discussion has been going on - whether to join, leave, or what to do. This is difficult for us because no one knows what we are doing.
Let’s do the job and if this issue arises after that, then let’s discuss it. That is why it is important to create an agenda, attack, and act. Then you will see what kind of alliance will form around it - a broader, stronger, and more effective one.
Those who want to stay in the swamp will themselves distance themselves from the matter and continue to “croak”…
In reality, we have little time and we are wasting it on invented dilemmas. Let’s do the job,” Khabeishvili writes.
