Senior police official Colonel Ioseb Sigua, accused by his wife of physical violence and threats, has been fitted with an electronic bracelet.
A few days ago, Ioseb Sigua was appointed head of the Main Department for Combating Organized Crime of the Central Criminal Police Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs.
He previously worked as head of the Main Department of Detectives of the Tbilisi Police Department.
For information, Ioseb Sigua's wife, Sofia Sigua-Shatberava, stated in "Nodar Meladze's Shabbat" that Ioseb Sigua threatened to kill her, throw her from the 12th floor, put her in a barrel and bury her.
