“What can I tell you? So much absurdity... At this stage, I cannot say anything,” former senior police official Ioseb Sigua told InterpressNews in response to allegations made by his ex-wife, Sophio Sigua-Shatberava, who accuses him of physical violence and making threats.
Ioseb Sigua made a brief comment after the hearing at the Tbilisi City Court, saying in response to a question that everything was absurd.
Both Ioseb Sigua and his former wife attended today’s hearing.
The case was heard by Judge Lela Gogishvili, who decided to close the hearing to the public.
As previously reported, Ioseb Sigua’s wife, Sophio Sigua-Shatberava, said on “Nodar Meladze’s Saturday” that Ioseb Sigua had threatened to kill her, throw her from the 12th floor, put her in a barrel and bury her.
