Shalva Papuashvili: There is no real unification or breakup - in reality, there is one political ideology whose followers receive instructions from outside and act on those instructions

“Generally speaking, whether it is an alliance, a group of nine, four, seven or something else, these are merely artificial forms invented to prevent us from seeing the truth. The truth is one — there is no real unification or breakup,” Georgian Parliament Speaker Shalva Papuashvili said.

According to the parliamentary speaker, no genuine unification exists. He said this was a scenario designed to confuse society into believing that there were different alternative political movements.

“These are groups controlled from outside — they act according to whatever instructions they are given. There is no independent political movement here. We have seen this farce, including in Parliament. In the previous Parliament, for example, we saw Khატia Dekanoidze leave the faction and the party, while she and Roman Gotsiridze supposedly had a separate group. Then we saw Khატia Dekanoidze return to the United National Movement and seek a leadership position. The same applies to Vashadze, Japaridze and Gvaramia. We have seen this scenario before — supposedly, they broke apart. This is a scenario designed to confuse society into believing that there are different alternative movements. In reality, there is one political ideology whose followers they are. They receive instructions directly from outside and carry them out,” Shalva Papuashvili said.
