The grandson of writer Nodar Dumbadze, Nodar Topuridze, is responding to the attack on comedian Onise Okriashvili on social media.

"Beating someone in the name of my grandfather must be the work of either a provocateur or an idiot. This is my comment," - writes Nodar Topuridze.

For information, comedian Onise Okriashvili was assaulted. Okriashvili's wife stated that the assault was related to the events surrounding writer Nodar Dumbadze.

"Three guys stopped him on the street and said “you're the one who cursed Nodar Dumbadze” and started beating me," - stated Okriashvili's wife.

A few days ago, Onise Okriashvili spoke about the writer Nodar Dumbadze in one of his podcasts, which was considered an insult by certain groups. Onise Okriashvili himself responded to this with a video address and stated that the video did not insult the writer, but hypothetically portrayed an absurd person who despises Nodar Dumbadze,” said Onise Okriashvili.
