133rd IPRM meeting held in Ergneti

The 133rd meeting of the Incident Prevention and Response Mechanism (IPRM) was held in the village of Ergneti, Gori Municipality, the State Security Service reports.

According to the State Security Service, the participants in the meeting discussed in detail all significant incidents reported in the occupied region and the territories adjacent to the occupation line since the previous meeting.

“Representatives of the State Security Service once again strictly raised the issue of bringing the representative/representatives of the Russian occupation forces guilty of the murder of Georgian citizen Tamaz Ginturi to justice.

Representatives of the central government once again condemned the illegal so-called borderization.

A significant part of the discussion was devoted to the illegal restriction of free movement and the regime at the so-called crossing points.

In addition, the meeting emphasized the growing trend of violations of fundamental human rights in the occupied Tskhinvali region.

Representatives of the central government strictly demanded the immediate release of all persons held in illegal detention.

The next meeting of the Incident Prevention and Response Mechanism has been set for September 8, 2026,” reads the information.
