The Tbilisi City Court sentenced doctor Giorgi Akhobadze to 25 days of administrative detention. The decision was issued by Judge Manuchar Tsatsua.

Akhobadze was summoned to court over a comment he posted on Facebook. The investigative agency accuses him of writing an insulting comment directed at Vato Shakarishvili.

On July 8, 2026, Akhobadze was also fined GEL 3,000 by the court in a similar case.
