Ammunition allegedly found in the sea in Makhinjauri - MIA launches investigation

The Georgian Ministry of Internal Affairs has launched an investigation into the alleged ammunition found in the sea in Makhinjauri.

As the agency told InterpressNews, the investigation is underway under Article 236 of the Criminal Code of Georgia, which refers to the illegal purchase and storage of weapons and ammunition.

According to available information, the found material has been sent for examination, to determine its type and origin.
