MMA fighter Giorgi Kartvelishvili - We are establishing a people's movement - if it is necessary to protect our culture and identity, we will not shy away from danger - we are ready to go to prison

MMA fighter Giorgi Kartvelishvili has founded a new movement with his associates. He announced the above at the briefing at the office of the Georgian Federation of Journalists.

According to him, the movement was founded to protect Georgian values and traditions.

According to Kartvelishvili, the movement will be very active, solid, and as constructive as possible, but if necessary to protect Georgian culture and national identity, they will not shy away from any danger, including “being ready to answer for every action and, if necessary, even go to prison.”

“The events that have developed in recent days have once again convinced the public that our identity, traditions, values and religion, as well as the achievements that have enriched Georgian culture at different times, led our people forward and defended our homeland at all costs, are periodically becoming the target of coordinated attacks.

As a rule, the authors of such campaigns are carriers of pseudo-liberal ideology, groups funded from outside the country, politicians, so-called activists, media representatives or people affiliated with them. This confirms that the attack on everything Georgian is not a natural, but a purposefully planned and artificially created process, which in the modern technological era is often uncontrolled.

That is why, from today, our initiative group, in order to protect Georgian values and traditions, is establishing a people's movement and is starting a fight against people with perverted ideology and groups formed by them, financed from abroad, who are in slavish obedience to external interests. Every patriotic Georgian can join us in this process, which we only welcome.

We want to tell the public that our movement will be very active, solid, and at the same time as constructive as possible. But if it is necessary for the protection of our culture and national identity, we will not shy away from any danger. We are ready to answer for each of our actions, even to go to prison if necessary, "- said Giorgi Kartvelishvili.
