Georgia's economy grew by 8.6% in June 2026

According to the preliminary estimate of Geostat, in June 2026, compared to the corresponding period of the previous year, the growth of real gross domestic product (GDP) amounted to 8.6%, while the average rate for the first six months was determined as 7.9%.

According to the National Statistics Office of Georgia, in June 2026, compared to the corresponding period of the previous year, the following sectors made a significant contribution to growth: manufacturing, transport and storage, construction, information and communication, financial and insurance activities.

According to Geostat, a downward trend was observed in the mining and energy sectors.
