Activist Tornike Toshkhua was detained in front of Tbilisi City Assembly. The information was confirmed by the Ministry of Internal Affairs.

As InterpressNews was told by the Ministry of Internal Affairs, Toshkhua was detained under Article 166 of the Code of Administrative Offenses, which refers to petty hooliganism.

According to available information, Tornike Toshkhua was holding an insulting banner against Bidzina Ivanishvili.

For information, Toshkhua was detained for the same reason on July 26 as well. The court recognized him as an administrative violator and imposed a fine of 6,000 GEL.
