Regarding the hot days of summer, the National Center for Disease Control and Public Health addresses citizens with recommendations.
According to the center, during the period of high temperatures, it is advisable to refrain from moving around on the streets during the hottest hours of the day.
Specialists urge the population to drink enough water and advise them to avoid consuming alcohol, sweetened and caffeinated beverages.
"It is recommended to refrain from high-intensity physical activity and transfer it to a cooler part of the day - in the morning hours.
The Center for Disease Control strictly warns parents and pet owners that it is unacceptable to leave children and animals in a parked car, as high temperatures pose a serious threat to their health and life.
When going outside, it is recommended to wear light-colored, loose-fitting and natural fabric clothing, as well as to use a hat, umbrella and sunglasses. It is important to maintain coolness in living spaces, and ventilate rooms at night and in the morning.
According to specialists, heat waves and high temperatures remain one of the main challenges for public health.
