“He is on vacation now and will leave later. I don’t think his departure is related to the State Electricity Commission. I don’t agree with the State Electricity Commission’s conclusion, it talks about subjective reasons. It can’t be that it’s Zardiashvili’s fault, who has been here for 1 year. The fact that our lines have had infrastructure problems for decades cannot be the fault of one person.

The State Electricity Commission’s assessment was not objective, and Zardiashvili knew this, so this could not be [the reason for his departure]. He is in Georgia as far as I know. I consider him a very effective manager and a person who has put a long-standing chaotic system in order and made it transparent,” Giorgi Abramishvili said.
