According to the Ministry of Internal Affairs, Hungarian journalist Laszlo Robert Mezes is in Georgia without legal grounds and has violated the terms of his stay in the country.
As InterpressNews was told by the agency, the procedure for the person's detention is underway on the basis of Article 64, paragraph 2, subparagraph "b" of the Law "On the Legal Status of Aliens and Stateless Persons".
According to the Ministry of Internal Affairs, the procedures for his detention are underway.
"The said person is in Georgia without legal grounds and has violated the terms of his stay in the country. Based on the above, the procedure for his detention is underway on the basis of Article 64, Paragraph 2, Subparagraph "b" of the Law "On the Legal Status of Aliens and Stateless Persons", - the Ministry of Internal Affairs said.
