According to the Report, drivers of Azerbaijani trucks moving through Georgia say that they have been delayed at customs checkpoints for several days, for which they have not received an official explanation so far.

As the Report writes, the Azerbaijani Embassy in Georgia has appealed to the Georgian authorities for an explanation.

According to Azerbaijani drivers, they have to wait for a long time mainly at the “Sarpi” and “Tsiteli Khidi” border checkpoints, as well as at the customs clearance center in Tbilisi.

Regarding the situation, the Azerbaijani Embassy in Georgia informed the Report that the incident is under control and the embassy has sent a diplomatic note to the Georgian Foreign Ministry.

Also, according to the Azerbaijani Embassy, ​​the situation is being examined together with the relevant state agencies.
