Belarusian tourists injured in car accident on Gomi Mountain remain in Batumi Republican Hospital.

According to Gia Kikabidze, Deputy Director of Batumi Republican Hospital, two of them remain in the intensive care unit - a mother and child with bruises. According to Kikabidze, the patients are expected to remain in the clinic until Monday.

“Yesterday evening, a young man was discharged and moved to Chokhatauri. His wife is admitted to the Chokhatauri clinic.

At this stage, 10 patients remain in the Batumi Republican Hospital. Their condition is being assessed as stable.

The children are feeling well. They may be discharged, but their parents are in the clinic and the embassy will resolve this issue. As you know, the ambassador has also arrived and this is all the embassy's business.

For information, two days ago, a minibus fell into a ravine on Gomi Mountain. According to available information, the Georgian driver managed to jump out of the vehicle.

As a result of the accident, 17 Belarusian tourists were injured, and four people died on the spot. Six children were among the injured.

The Ministry of Internal Affairs has launched an investigation under Article 276, which refers to violation of traffic rules that resulted in the loss of a person's life.
