Following the events of recent days, I would like to ask the Ivanishvili regime, the one who destroyed Georgia and usurped power - who started the war in Abkhazia in 1992? Maybe you think it was us in that case too?! - This statement was made by the leader of the Coalition for Changes Nika Gvaramia at the Memorial to the Heroes Who Died for the Territorial Integrity of Georgia.

Gvaramia also noted that history is being rewritten and his questions are only rhetorical.

Gvaramia also stated today that the only peaceful way to return the territories is to become a EU member and to get Abkhazia and the so-called South Ossetia interested in becoming part of a united, strong, free and wealthy state.

He called the Georgian Dream a “traitor.”

“Today is the day the war began in Abkhazia! Who started the war in Abkhazia in 1992? Maybe you think it was us in that case too?! Who violated all the ceasefire agreements, including after the start of school? Who entered Gagra, who killed people and who played football with the heads of Georgians at the Gagra stadium? - This is not mythology, this is a true story! Who carried out ethnic cleansing in Abkhazia? - Maybe you think it was us in that case too?! It’s been decades since we, Georgians, have been expelled from there, killed, and our homes have been taken away.

I want to ask, who brought gasoline into occupied Abkhazia in violation of the Constitution and law of Georgia, into the territory controlled by Russia? Who has a guarantee that where Russia decides everything, this gasoline will not be poured into Russian military vehicles? Every drop of this gasoline is equal to every drop of Ukrainian blood shed. Every drop of this gasoline is a blow to Georgia's national interests. If this is humanitarian aid to Abkhazia, why is it not done in exchange for restoring Georgian language education in Gali, where Georgians are being made to lose their Georgianness in this very way? Why does 90% of Georgia's electricity go to Abkhazia? It is a lie that this is a humanitarian mission, because there is a power shortage in Abkhazia and the 90% output of the Enguri HPP is three times more than Abkhazia's demand. In fact, the electricity goes because Ivanishvili, the Russians and Abkhazian criminals make money together!

We all know where the truth is! The questions are rhetorical, but we will still hear answers to them. The main questions we have with each other are - why do we tolerate real loss of national sovereignty, not its seizure by the European Union, which is a lie. The only peaceful way to return our territories is to become a member of the European Union and to make Abkhazia and the so-called South Ossetia interested in becoming part of a united, strong, free and wealthy state.

In reality, the government is a traitor. It is not a government - it is a regime that has usurped power. We must send this government to the dustbin of history and forget the disasters they have caused as quickly as possible. But people must be held accountable for these disasters and the regime must be brought to justice,” said Nika Gvaramia.
