Georgian Deputy Prime Minister and Defense Minister Irakli Chikovani held an introductory meeting with US Chargé d'Affaires Amy Diaz, the Georgian Defense Ministry reports.

According to the Georgian Defense Ministry, during the meeting, the parties discussed relations between Georgia and the United States and issues of cooperation in the defense sector.

“The meeting was attended by First Deputy Defense Minister Paata Patiashvili and US Defense Attaché Colonel Jonathan Adams,” reads the information.
