Employees of the Prosecutor’s Office of Georgia have detained one person on the fact of infringement of the secrecy of private life. This information is released by the Prosecutor’s Office of Georgia.

According to the agency, the accused obtained, stored and then unlawfully distributed via social media photographs of intimate content.

“The investigation conducted by the Investigative Division of the Samegrelo-Zemo Svaneti District Prosecutor’s Office established that the accused obtained and stored photographs of intimate content of the victim, which he subsequently distributed unlawfully via social media.

The detainee is charged under Article 157¹, Part 2 of the Criminal Code of Georgia, which provides for a penalty of deprivation of liberty from 5 to 8 years,” the information states.
