There was a commotion outside the Supreme Council of Abkhazia, where members of the United National Movement arrived.

A verbal confrontation took place at the entrance to the Supreme Council between members of the National Movement and Rudik Tsatava, a deputy of the Supreme Council of the Autonomous Republic of Abkhazia.

Members of the National Movement are demanding a meeting with representatives of the Supreme Council of Abkhazia and an answer from them as to why fuel is entering occupied Abkhazia from the territory controlled by Georgia.

Rudik Tsatava told the politicians that they would not receive an answer from him, to which members of the National Movement reminded him that he had an obligation to explain.

“You don’t pay me my salary, the state pays me. A lot of things go there, including tractors, cars, parts, oil products, food, flour, corn, cheese. If this [fuel] goes there for the benefit of the people living there, of course, I agree. I do everything I can to help the people, but I can drop a bomb to help the Russian army, if I have one,” said Rudik Tsatava, to which Beso Shengelia, a member of the National Movement, called him a “seller of Abkhazia.”

“You sold Abkhazia, you are a seller of Abkhazia. You, Rudik Tsatava, are a seller of Abkhazia!” Beso Shengelia addressed Rudik Tsatava, after which they verbally insulted each other.
