Eliso Kiladze said that she has a great deal of information related to the activities of the late Lazare Jorbenadze and is requesting to be questioned as a witness, defence lawyer of the accused journalist Eliso Kiladze, Valeri Gelbakhiani, told journalists.

According to the lawyer, Eliso Kiladze states that she met Lazare Jorbenadze before his death and that their conversation concerned agent activity.

“Eliso Kiladze said that she has a great deal of information related to the activities of the late Lazare Jorbenadze, that this information also contains criminal elements, and she demanded that the prosecutor launch an investigation and that she be questioned as a witness. The prosecutor said that this is not his prerogative, that another prosecutor and investigative agency will examine it, and told us to write a letter to that agency.

She [Eliso Kiladze] said that she met me before his death, that he was with me and that I had recorded the conversation with him, and that the conversation was about agent activity. Probably this agent activity is the most important,” Valeri Gelbakhiani stated.
