He was talking about a specific agreement that was signed. Such an agreement cannot be signed in secret. You know that all government acts are open and transparent. No such agreement can be signed in secret. Therefore, a very simple lie was spread about this man. This is a tragic person who later committed suicide. There is a testimony from a member of his family in this regard and so on. We are talking about a person who was in the apartment when this fact occurred. Therefore, it is very difficult to talk about this topic. The man is dead and I have to talk about the fact that they made him write a lie, it is not ethical to talk about all this," Kobakhidze said.

As for the question of whether the prosecutor's office summoned anyone for questioning, Irakli Kobakhidze explained that the investigative agency summoned everyone it deemed necessary for questioning.

"The prosecutor's office summoned anyone it deemed necessary, which is absolutely logical. People came forward with specific accusations, no matter how frivolous the accusations may be, the prosecutor's office still has a responsibility to summon people and question them. These are legal procedures that will be followed. What should I comment on? Do you know what kind of lie this is? If someone says that the parliament adopted a law regarding Davit Gareji, it is about that kind of lie. How can there be a serious discussion about such a thing?" Kobakhidze said.
