This was stated by Lana Tsertsvadze, the lawyer of the former head of the State Security Service, Grigol Liluashvili, after the end of the court session, where one of the defendants, Andria Liluashvili, was questioned as a witness.

According to the lawyer, witness Andria Liluashvili confirmed that he had indeed been to the State Security Service building several times, in full compliance with the rules for visitors, and that his visit had no illegal content.

As Tsertsvadze noted, Andria Liluashvili met with Grigol Liluashvili at the State Security Service due to his brother's health condition.

“Today, the defense presented Andria Liluashvili as a witness, who was a very important witness for the defense.

As you know, regarding the so-called call center episode, the only thing that the prosecution is arguing about and saying is that the only person who was the carrier of communication, as well as the transmitter of funds to Grigol Liluashvili, the so-called bribe, as the prosecution explains it - this very person was interviewed by us, who clearly and emphatically stated and explained that he had never given a bribe to anyone, especially Grigol Liluashvili, and that there was no patronage of any kind of “call center” by Mr. Grigol Liluashvili.

This is very important information, because the prosecution's own version is that another person did not bring him the funds, the prosecution itself offers us the version that this specific person was Andria Liluashvili. It is logical that Andria Liluashvili should have confirmed the information that if something like this had happened. The person spoke only the truth and reality, that such a fact could not physically occur in nature.

The question was raised at the trial about how often Andria Liluashvili had visited the State Security Service over the past six years. He explained that he had indeed visited several times, although in compliance with all the rules, and none of his visits were in any way related to any illegal activity. He also explained the reason why several visits were made - Andria Liluashvili spoke about his brother's health condition, which was the basis and reason for the visit," the lawyer said.
