According to the National Statistics Office of Georgia (Geostat), the number of live births in Georgia during the period of January–June 2026 was 17,509. During the same period, 22,224 deaths occurred in the country.

As stated in the information released by Geostat, the natural increase (the difference between the number of live births and deaths) for the first half of 2026 stood at -4,715. A positive natural increase was recorded in Tbilisi (424) and the Autonomous Republic of Adjara (330).

Additionally, 10,006 marriages and 6,095 divorces were registered during the first six months of 2026.
