According to the Ministry of Internal Affairs, two individuals were arrested at different times on charges involving the illegal acquisition and possession of ammunition and exceptionally large quantities of narcotic substances, facilitating the sale of narcotics, and the illegal cultivation of narcotic-containing plants.

Police also seized materials used for packaging narcotics.

"Officers from the Tbilisi Main Division of the Ministry of Internal Affairs' Patrol Police Department arrested two individuals at different times on charges of illegally acquiring and possessing ammunition and exceptionally large quantities of narcotic substances, facilitating the sale of narcotics, and illegally cultivating narcotic-containing plants.

As a result of investigative actions—including searches of the accused individuals' persons and residences—law enforcement officers seized exceptionally large quantities of narcotic substances, specifically 'Alpha-PVP,' cannabis plants, and dried marijuana. Ammunition intended for firearms was also seized from one of the detainees. The police also seized materials used for packaging narcotics.

The investigation is proceeding under Articles 260, 260 (Part 4), 265 (Prime), and 236 of the Criminal Code, which provide for imprisonment for up to 20 years or life imprisonment," the statement notes.
