Whether it happens every three months, every six months, or every ten years, it is a standard process in any state," stated Levan Makhashvili, Chairman of the Parliament's European Integration Committee, commenting on the resignation of Gela Geladze, the former head of the State Security Service.

I reiterate: we respect his decision and wish him success in his future endeavors. Gela Geladze has stepped down as Head of the State Security Service. Tamaz Borashvili will now assume this position, while Gela Geladze has been appointed Deputy Minister of Internal Affairs.
