Lawyer: Tamaz Elizbarashvili has been banned from communicating with the outside world

According to Lekso Svimonishvili, the lawyer for detained businessman Tamaz Elizbarashvili, an investigator's order has banned Elizbarashvili from communicating with the outside world.

Svimonishvili writes on social media that Elizbarashvili has been denied the following rights: long visits, short visits, correspondence, and telephone calls.

"By an investigator's order, Tamaz Elizbarashvili has been banned from communicating with the outside world.

He has been denied: 1. The right to long visits; 2. The right to short visits; 3. The right to correspondence; 4. The right to make telephone calls.

Grounds for the ban: 1. Risk of influencing and/or pressuring witnesses; 2. Risk of hindering the collection of evidence; 3. Risk of obstructing the administration of justice," writes Lekso Svimonishvili.
