Lasha Maghradze has been appointed as Deputy Minister of Justice. According to the Ministry of Justice, Maghradze is a lawyer by profession; he graduated from the Faculty of Law at Ivane Javakhishvili Tbilisi State University and Columbia Law School.
"He has held senior positions in both the public and private sectors at various times;
He possesses 20 years of experience in fields such as criminal justice, enforcement system, judicial system, judicial training, anti-corruption efforts, the rule of law, and human rights. He has actively collaborated with international partners to implement institutional and programmatic reforms within the justice sector.
Prior to his appointment as Deputy Minister of Justice, he served as the First Deputy Head of the State Security Service," reads the statement.
