The Georgian Prime Minister’s visit to New York has begun. Bilateral meetings with counterparts are scheduled for today within the framework of the UN General Assembly.

"We will have the opportunity to discuss issues of importance to Georgia and the region at the highest level," Maka Bochorishvili, Georgia's Vice Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs, stated while speaking to journalists.

According to Maka Bochorishvili, the Prime Minister will participate today in an event organized by the European Union dedicated to multilateralism.

"The Prime Minister is also scheduled to participate today in an EU-organized event dedicated to multilateralism, and the Georgian Prime Minister will take part in the discussion," stated the Vice Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs.
