Shalva Papuashvili on Irakli Gharibashvili’s case: There was no prospect of turning it into a political matter within the Georgian justice system before, and there is none now
According to Parliament Speaker Shalva Papuashvili, there “was no prospect of turning the issue concerning former Prime Minister Irakli Gharibashvili into a political matter within the Georgian justice system before, and there is none now.”
He made the statement to journalists during his visit to Brussels.
“I cannot comment on this matter in depth. There is a legal process, and a legal process requires legal responses. There was no prospect of turning it into a political matter within the Georgian justice system before, and there is none now. I cannot comment further on this,” Papuashvili said.
