On the sidelines of the 81st session of the UN General Assembly, and at the initiative of the Belarusian side, a meeting took place between Maka Botchorishvili, Georgia’s Vice Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs, and Maxim Ryzhenkov, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Belarus, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Georgia reports.

According to the Ministry, the discussion covered issues of priority for both countries, including trade and economic relations.

"Attention was focused on the importance of supporting Georgia's sovereignty and territorial integrity," reads the press release issued by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Georgia.
