Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze states that all issues between the governments of Georgia and Azerbaijan are discussed in a "friendly manner."

Specifically, Kobakhidze addressed a question regarding the statement issued by the Azerbaijani Foreign Ministry in response to the Georgian Patriarchate's statement concerning the Kurmukhi Church—located in Azerbaijani territory—and noted that Georgia has no tension with the Azerbaijani government.

"We have no tension; we have a friendly relationship with the Azerbaijani government. Thanks to this friendship, we can discuss all issues very easily. All matters between the governments of Georgia and Azerbaijan are discussed in this way—in a friendly manner," the Prime Minister noted.
