Maka Botchorishvili hosts diplomatic corps for grape harvest

Maka Bochorishvili, Vice Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of Georgia, hosted representatives of the diplomatic corps accredited in Georgia for the grape harvest (Rtveli) in Tsinandali.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs released information regarding the event, noting that the diplomats were introduced to the centuries-old history, culture, and traditions of Georgian wine, as well as modern production trends.

"The guests had the opportunity to view unique grape varieties and participate in the harvest and the grape-pressing process. The event also featured a Georgian wine tasting and culinary masterclasses.

Attendees included Minister of Environmental Protection and Agriculture Davit Songhulashvili, Minister of Finance Lasha Khutsishvili, and the State Representative in the Kakheti region, Platon Kalmakhelidze," the statement reads.
