Opposition politicians report that the hearings for the constitutional lawsuit concerning the ban on opposition parties have been set to begin on October 21. They shared this information on social media.

Specifically, Irakli Kupradze, a leader of the Lelo – Strong Georgia coalition, stated that he was contacted by the Constitutional Court and informed that the proceedings regarding the party bans were scheduled for October 21, 22, and 23.

Kupradze characterized the scheduling of these Constitutional Court proceedings as rushed.

"I received a call from the Constitutional Court; the proceedings on banning the parties have been scheduled in a rushed manner—October 21, October 22, and October 23," Irakli Kupradze wrote on social media.

The Constitutional Court also contacted Berdia Sichinava, leader of the Gakharia for Georgia party, summoning him to the hearing.

"I received a call from the Constitutional Court telling me to come on October 21, 22, or 23 for the hearing regarding the ban on my party.

Finally, she asked if I could put them in touch with the National Movement and/or the Federalists. I said, 'Madam, do you really take us for the "Collective National Movement"? Go ask Vasil Roinishvili for the National Movement's contact details. I think they’ll manage to get in touch without my help,'" writes Berdia Sichinava.
